ABOUT
The people who read the claims.
Every Inventiply report answers to two named people, not a department. Below is why we built the method this way, and the two people who actually do the work.
WHY WE BUILT IT THIS WAY
We have been the inventor, the investor, the expert, the litigator, and the founder. Each seat taught us something we refused to leave out.
Inventing taught us that a patent is praised when it is filed and tested only when money shows up — so our reports ask the hard questions before the money does. Litigation taught us that opinions do not survive cross-examination; evidence does — so every finding is cited to its source, and every gap in the proof is named rather than papered over. Raising capital taught us that an investment committee cannot defend a number it cannot open — so valuation arrives as a band with its assumptions showing. And running companies taught us that founders drown in dashboards and subscriptions — so we deliver a finished file, in plain English, priced for the matter it serves.
Every finding cited, every gap named, no stake in the answer.
NAMED INVENTOR ON 262+ U.S. PATENTS.
Gary has been inventing since before he was allowed to sign his own contracts, and defending inventions in court since shortly after. Named inventor on more than 262 U.S. patents across a dozen industries, he has watched good ideas get narrowed into worthlessness by the people paid to protect them — and built Inventiply’s method so it stops happening. The stamp is his.
ATTORNEY · FOUNDER COACH · $1B+ RAISED.
Cameron has tried cases, built companies, and coached founders through more than a billion dollars in raises. He has sat across the table from hired experts paid to say a patent was worth everything, and from experts paid to say the same patent was worth nothing. Inventiply is his answer to both: analysis that is paid to be right, written in language a businessperson can act on.
HOW WE WORK
Built from both sides of the table
The method is the same on every file: read the claims against the prior art and the marketplace, cite every finding to where it came from, and put the result in plain English, priced for what the matter is actually worth. We built it because we had already seen what shortcuts look like from the other side of the table — as the inventor, the litigator, the investor, and the founder.
INVENTIPLY AND DEEPLAW
The team is led by Gary Shuster, named inventor on more than 262 patents, and Cameron Powell, who has helped founders raise over $1 billion. Our sister firm DeepLaw LLP handles formal legal work — opinions, enforcement, litigation, copyrights, and trademarks — when a client needs it; when you already have counsel, our reports equip them. And when you want more than a report — co-invention, portfolio strategy, brokering — the same people who write the reports do the work.
Where the machine ends and Gary begins
You can teach an AI every combination of references that ever invalidated a patent as obvious. You cannot teach it to dream up the next one. Finding the single reference that kills novelty is search, and our engines are relentless at it. Building the combination that proves obviousness is different — only judgment can build that: a 1987 industrial manual joined to a 2009 networking paper because someone once litigated a claim that lived in the space between them. That judgment is Gary Shuster’s — inventor, claims draftsman, and patent litigator in one working life — and our AI amplifies it. Inventiply is AI augmenting human genius in inventions and patents. Not replacing it, and not pretending to.
